| Causeway Colors SOLD |
I am drawn to the colors of low tide waters, the ochres and browns and grays against the greens and blues. This one reminds me of areas along the Causeway, between Maine's Little Deer Isle and Deer Isle. The painting just happened as I was pushing paint around one morning last week. Then I took a drive past the Causeway yesterday and realized that must have been where my senses were that morning in the studio. I like the smell there too.
I think i can smell the salt water....What a great painting. The composition is so mice and the colors are lively. Beautiful job, Linda
